Why Gabrielle Created Mothers-Raising-Daughters.com

Hello and welcome.

My name is Gabrielle.

I created Mothers-Raising-Daughters.com for all moms who strive daily to be the very best they can be for both themselves and their daughters.

Like many of you, I've been through many recreations over my lifetime from physical to emotional to environmental to economical. I've taken on different outward personas depending on my role as daughter, young woman finding my own, single mother, professional, and married mother; you might say I've been finding myself for a long time.

While I've had the fortune to be blessed by often being in the right place at the right time, it's what I did while I was there that made the difference.

I have not always had the freedoms I experience today and I continue to strive for additional freedoms. For me, I've taken too long. Still, all those stumbling blocks I've experienced have also led me to amazing people who have impacted my life and my daughter, Phoebe, in many, many positive ways.

And when I found myself in less-than-favorable circumstances, I learned to let pride and ego go, and practice humility and gratitude in their place.

As a mother raising a daughter I have learned to grow up and be accountable, to embrace the stages of my life and Phoebe's, to be selfless, and to keep learning.

As for who I am and my purpose, I am still on the road of discovery. As I figure it out, I'll keep you posted. Stay tuned. :)
